Description
Before I started working on Paradigm Spiral, I was toying around with a short action series called Gumi Gumi (reference to the old flash series, Xiao Xiao).I stopped for two reasons:
1) Choreographed actions scenes are not what I want to be known for.
2) MMD is the equivalent of stop motion of 3D animating programs. It takes so long to animate compared to other programs I've used, making it difficult to get good looking motions.
So I'm just uploading it here to show what I'm capable of as an animator, for better or worse. I'd consider finishing it if someone could import the models into Blender or something.

That article was quite the read. It was a little too artfully worded for me to really get what the author was trying to say. What I got from the article and videos is that Japanese use special techniques (which for some reason they keep to themselves) to make all the wonder fluid and vibrant animations we all like to call "anime".
As for the last link. Yes, I already knew about the situation of animators in Japan. I actually donated to that project.

yeah it was confusing for me too but as i watch some clips of Sakuga i slowly but surely started to understand~

I prefer mo-capped movements but it does the job pretty well.
