this is a kitten that was saved. she my fav little saved kitten (and youngest, was barely a month old when found), never got over her, she did find a new home. on the photo, she was getting ready for her new owners.Related content

When I wash my kitten I usuelly just fill the tub and use a cup to pour water on her. less traumatizing, less painful.

Hmmm, I'm pretty sure the kitty pictured here has a twin, and his name is Eros. While he no longer tries to kill me when I give him bathes, he sure does give me the look of death! I've noticed it's okay for them to stand on the edge when you shower, but the minute you try to bring them in with you, it's like you've turned on their survival instinct!

Years ago, my brother was taking a bath when my sister's kitten PT (for Putty Tat) wandered in and tried to walk around the rim of the bathtub. He did all right until right by the faucet where the rim narrowed - he fell in there. He jumped right out and jumped into his litter box. His face kind of looked the same - astonished.

Poor kittie. But I know why that's necessaray. And yes you have to wash the head too. I didn't on my kitties and especially if your washing them to get rid of fleas if you don't wash the head then all the fleas you don't get consentrate on the poor wee head. Mine somehow got fleas and I didn't wash the head and I ended up having to wash them a second time. ( Once is enough thank you very much)
