Anyhows, after we get back from our first show of the year, I generally spend a full week working in the backyard getting it all straightened out. Just hope the weather doesn't warm up then drop to 23 like it did last year. It blew apart the canes on many of my rose bushes!

It has gotten very windy and cold the past few days. I hope your garden will be fine. What kinds of flowers do you have?

Oh my.... Various Roses, Calla Lilies, Asiatic, and Oriental Lillies, We generally plant a Mandevilla, some osteospurmums, Shitloads of Irises, Rose Of Sharon (purple), Peonies, Resurrection Lilies, Gladiolus, Tulips if they bother to come up, and Cannas. Depending on money, we generally plant some Petunias and various other bedding type plants.
It's always windy up by the airport.

I'm hanging at your house. Sounds like you have a wonderful garden. I am going to have to search for some place close by...so when it rains I can get raindrops.....I really have to work on my raindrop shots.

Put a potted plant on your balcony, and mist it with a sprayer.

Oh, on our back porch in the spring and summer you'll find Tropical Hibiscus, Dracenia, Defenbachia, a couple of 7+ foot tall Ficus trees, a Grapefruit tree, and some Desert Roses, as well as Purpleheart, a Croton, and some caladiums.
OH! I forgot the Rose Mallows [link] in the yard, as well!

I hope you will let me shoot some photos of your garden. I cannot wait to see it! I love hibiscus...they are very beautiful. Crotons are wonderful also. You sound like you have just about everything in the garden.
