Looks great and I love the color and paint job, the only thing I would say is that the wall behind the artifact could be a little more defined, I can see what it is but it doesn't quite blend well with the surrounding frame .

I like the thick glowing effect surrounding the focus piece and you could possibly keep that by adding detail to the outer most parts of the glow near to the frame and slowly blend it into the glow.
You also could add more depth to the picture by adding a bit more values to the background.

I actually really like this but since you asked for critique I thought I could mention a few things. Hope it helps

I don't know why (the reason is eluding me), but I keep thinking the area with the light should have more detail or be crisper/clearer.
