Description
Walking through the park, what do they see?
Dwoll: Sparrows, swallows, scrub-jays, squirrels in the park eating on the field before dashing back to the trees, and a solitary kingfisher on the power lines. A large stretch of woods to the back, though knowing the country he's in, there's probably no deer.
Ariel: A Mexican family having a birthday party at the park, using the public property to relax and celebrate, filling the park with the happy noise of family and friends enjoying a sunny day outside.
Turner: The hydroelectric plant has a sturdy black fence around it, and is neatly decorated with signs stating the location is off limits to the public and monitored 24/7.
Tim: A dog near the family's party is staring him down, challenging his authority. All it needs to do is take a few steps to the right, out of sight of everyone else, and he'll show it who's top dog.

A little perspective exercise I did about a year ago, with a new drawing to accompany it. While I'm talking about the TDG, I have an important update. Behind the scenes there was a big change of plans in regard to our main characters. For all of you who pay attention it means nothing other than a change of design and names.
Dwoll is my character, my avatar, my reflection. Only one thing about him has changed: his eyes. Previously they were blue to highlight his mixed heritage and his magic vision bringing greater clarity. In hindsight, it was a bit of a... racy choice. Especially given that he's not white. Instead they are represented as kaleidoscopic now.
Angel has become Ariel. He's still aloof, still an angel, still the protagonist of Prologue 2, but no longer albino. Hopefully I can nail down the coloration soon.
Quatroctus has become Turner. Like Dwoll he is biracial (Japanese/Italian American), but unlike Dwoll he has little conflict about it. He considers himself American and can pass for a few different ethnicities. Useful for the public face and money guy of the company.
And Tim. Tim is replacing Rabbit , who never got his own detailed description. Tim is half of a snake, popping out of the ground anywhere connected to the earth, like a garden eel. When necessary he can become a frog, but he doesn't like to do this because then he's just a lil guy and has to be carried around.
