well.. i got some food die, and some scotch glasses...wanted to create a rather simple, colourful photo.

I like the way the colours all go together.

Such a very simple concept, but what makes this photo really stand out is the vibrant display of colours and the texture and shine of the glasses from all angles.
Your choice, as well as balance of colouring for the water in each glass is spot on, i couldn't imagine any better colours being used for this photo.
This would make a wonderful print, it certainly is eye-catching, but it's sheer vibrant simplicity makes it unique.

I Love the color and composition of the photo focus and contrast is amazing.
what did you use for lighting/set up ?

the shot was set up on a large piece of white card with a grey card at the back, the light was from a halogen spot light (from the local tool shop) held above.
- i was playing around with 2 lights but i think i only used one for this shot.
- contrast was boosted in PS using a channel mixer overlay.
... oh, and the camera used was a Canon Ixus 50 on macro mode

-as to the die vs dye issue... i will defend myself by claiming that i used the word die as i feel it is removing the water's purity, thus killing it.
