ANIMATION HERE: [link]This is a sentry gun I'm making for a CG Society Game Art Challenge. The challenge is to have a box turn into something in the style of Team Fortress 2. (animated)
I made this quickly Sunday based on a concept I drew a few days ago. It's still mostly untextured but I plan on making very simple textures for it, to keep with the TF2 buildings look.
~1350 quads. Made with 3DS Max 9 and Photoshop.

OMG I WANT IT. Just spent the last hour getting killed by enemy Spy posed as me who kept sapping my stuff. This makes my TF2 heart sing ^^

Nope, I haven't done it. If they've seen the video and thought it would work well in the game, they'll probably made their own version. I don't think it would "really" fit the game exactly the way it is now though.

you should make another version which comes from the engineer toolbox also great idea i would love to see that thing ingame, maybe in a mod.
