Description "Every Who down in Whoville liked Christmas a lot. But the Grinch, who lived north of Whoville, did not." But there was another person who didn't like Christmas much either; a Who, who was considered odd: Winnie Dorothy Whit. She has alopecia universalis (I already know what it is, but if anyone who comments explaining what it is, I'll edit this and put in what it is) though she keeps it hidden well; has never grown into her nose, is actually a friend to the Grinch, and thus is a very strange Who. There's also the fact that she lives up in Mt. Crumpit with the Grinch and his dog Max, sometimes going down to Whoville to grocery shop, though you wouldn't catch her in any of the Christmas shops if she can help it.
Winnie is generally a nice girl, except to people she hates, and who she deems rude. She has a somewhat short temper, and when she gets mad, she yells, with her barely-hidden Russian accent thickening, and might even get physical--she's known for being able to slap hard enough to bruise. But she's able to control her physical rage to a degree where she seldom hurts anyone (but when it comes to Mayor May-Who, who bullied her in school as well, she makes exceptions as much as she can) She dislikes sour flavors and Who-hash, likes bubbly sodas, and enjoys finding random nicknacks or thrown-away junk in the Who Dump to take apart and put together to try and make something new (kind of like Toy Story's Sid) but cannot paint or draw to save her life, saying "I suck at stick figures even."
When she helps the Grinch steal Christmas, she dresses up as an elf, saying "Every Santy Claus needs an elf helper." She also creates a weapon to help with snatching gifts and ornamants: the PSGaGG, or the Present-Stealing-Grab-and-Go-Gun, which is made out of a grappling hook gun and parts from a crane machine. "Because everyone knows crane machines are money-eating gyps anyway." Even though she helps the Grinch when he's playing pranks on the Whoville citizens, she sometimes questions him if something was necessary. But she also enjoys playing pranks as well (she was the one who taught him how to use spitballs when they were in grade school) and can concoct stink bombs and balls of paint that explode.

So, I recently watched the Grinch movie with Jim Carrey, and I really liked it. It was funny and heart-warming (I was squealing at the friendship between the Grinch and Cindy Lou :3) and I think Jim Carrey just might be one of my favorite actors; he's a joy to watch, and it looked like he had a great time playing the Grinch.

And I thought an interesting OC would be a Who who dislikes Christmas as well (I know I'm not the only one who's done that, but I don't think I'm really "stealing") I drew her before seeing the movie, so I didn't see what the Whos looked like until too late, but I think I can get away with it (Martha wasn't very Who-ish looking either) I also thought it'd be neat for her to dress as a Christmas elf, seeing as Santa always has elves. I think the gun she has would be fun to have, if not for stealing Christmas, for just having fun grabbing stuff from a long distance away.

Not sure if I'll do a fanfic for this movie, but I felt like posting this character anyway. [EDIT] suggested "Dorothy Whit" as a middle and last name for Winnie. So far, there are no other suggestions, and I've really grown on the full name "Winnie Dorothy Whit," so this is her canon full name. Thanks NW1159

I love watching that movie! And Jim Carrey is one of my favourite comedian actors and did you know that before he was chosen to cast as The Grinch, Jack Nicholson and Eddie Murphy were briefly considered. Also, Universal Pictures and Illumination Entertainment had announced that they are working on a computer-animated remake of the film. Peter Candeland is set to direct, following the remake to TCitH (The Cat in the Hat). The remake of the Grinch will be released on November 17, 2017, well, if it will be released by that time. I've got a couple of surnames for ya with different middle names included:

Winnie Samantha Cook
Winnie Nicole Wood
Winnie Jean Hood
Winnie Dorothy Whit

I'm fine if ya don't want the middle names and I know someone will suggest more surnames for ya and good luck on finding the right surname.

Yeah, I read about that. Eddie Murphy, I can't really see playing the Grinch; Jack Nicholson, however, maybe (though, like my horse riding teacher said, he'd make the movie a bit more dark) And I did hear something about the Cat in the Hat being made into CGI, but not the Grinch. They ought to be interesting.

So far, I'm liking "Winnie Dorothy Whit," so I'll put that in a list of considerations, and if I get more, I'll choose from them. Thanks

Just recently read your awesome fanfic about How the Grinch Stole Christmas! (Yes, I'm reading it in Feburary xD ) And I really enjoyed it! Especially Winnie! Loved her and the Grinch as best buds! If I had to rate it out of 10, I would rate it as 20! I'm really hoping that you'll continue it again, I'm so interested about what happened next! Overall, I loved every bit about it and how you explained how Winnie and Grinch met, and how it continues on to the events of the movie! Brilliant story, hope to see more.

Thank you very much. I'm glad you like it Unfortunately, I don't have plans to continue it at the moment, but I may someday; I might even revamp it a bit, since, looking back, there are several things I'd like to change.
