I don't even. Ugh. Why did I decide to do this? I started drawing the plane and /shotPlus I'm trying to get used to CS6 and my lines are everywhere. Good thing it's just an extra image.
My lines will (hopefully) get better by the time I have to draw my entries.
Landkreuzer arrives in Australia for the AUSe Olympics.
It all led to this. The big moment; the #AUSe-Olympics . The pair had been training for some time, and after having to pull out of the HARPG Olympics last year, this was their chance to redeem themselves. It didn't matter if it was halfway around the world. Kat and Zuse never backed down from a challenge. This yet they would conquer, or they would at least try their very best. After all, it wasn't the color of the ribbon that mattered. So long as you complete your goal of accomplishing something together, then that would be enough.
The flight was gruesomely long. At least that's how it felt to Kat. Unable to sleep, she worried about her equine counterpart for the entire trip. No doubt he felt the same way, except in a more "get me out of this box" sort of way. He was never one to stand still for too long. But finally they landed, and it wasn't a moment too soon. Just as she imagined, Zuse was causing a ruckus as usual. Not only did he not like to stand still, but he hated to travel. Even the mild sedative only helped so much. So the flight staff decided it would be best for the other horses if the hyperactive stallion were off-loaded first.
It proved to be a bit difficult to harness the stallion's energy in order to remove him from his box, but the crew eventually managed. It was extremely helpful that Kat was there to help, since she knew her boy so well. She did raise him after all. By the time the pair made it to the ramp, the stud was so interested in looking around that Kat was able to lead him down fairly easily. Even still, she didn't take her eyes off the stud for a second. Neither of the two had ever been to Australia, and just like other showgrounds, she never knew how Zuse was going to act.

Well it doesn't matter what type of image or show, but I need six "top placing" show entries. I don't know what they count as top placings, but the most I'd have is 4, which would mean I'd need 2 more top placing shows. If it's top 3, then I have 3 and I'll need 3 more.

Yep! All of the Legacy stuff. And he uses a 3-ring elevator bit/figure-8 bridle for Show Jumping and the usual double bridle for Dressage. I can send you a bunch of links if you want. I just don't have exact tack for Dressage. I'm obviously more of a Show Jumping person XD

Well I'd LIKE to say he could do whatever, but let's be realistic haha. I haven't really done much training with him in Dressage. He only has I think three training images. I was going to show him at 3rd level.

Aha I've never drawn a Puissance picture, but I'm going to make that one of his specialties. There's just never any Puissance shows/classes! I kinda pictured Nick Skelton's Russell as similar to Zuse. Though I based a big part of him and his jumping style off of Landkoenig. I know how that is with images though, I have so many that I have never finished. Ugh... I can always commission more if he doesn't finish top 3? ;D

About the Puissance... Yeah, I saw a few. Actually know one on-going... Deadline is tomorrow and I haven't started my entry for it yet !! xD ... We're only 4 to enter which is kinda a lot from what I saw in the past Puissance classes.... And there's only 1 entry done... I'll draw mine this afternoon -- definitely want my Puissance horse to go in his first show ! :3
And I also forgot my dressage entry for Charmeur, deadline is midnight, oh well... xD
For sure I'll upload some WiP so you can tell me if they're okay or not ! When I'll be done with my Puissance and my Dressage entry, I'll go ahead with the 1st pic of Zuse I started, getting it flat colored and with a flat color background, so I'll just have to shade (:
If you got great SJ/Puissance stock (picture can be a bit messy or small, it's okay, I'll deal with it), you can always link me, as I always need new stock

I can be kinda fast according to the shading style I use and my motivation -- making me able to start just a few hours before the event close ! Thought of course, more I start earlier, more the entry might look prettier lol, of course :3

It's mainly the lines that take me forever! My hands are pretty shaky, so it's difficult sometimes.
You can pic colors from his reference if you want (: Oh, I don't know how much detail you want to put into the rider either, but Kat is based off of Candice Swanepoel, the Victoria's Secret model. Except she's only 5'2" and she has black hair.
You can probably just google Nick Skelton and Russell for references over Puissance, but they won't be stock of course. Just for ref duh XD
