I imagined this one to be worn while she’s traversing a desert or something. It’s meant to be sorta Djinn clothes, but heavily edited because Elliel can’t stand the heat and wants to be as naked as mortally possible. This costume is heavily inspired by a video game character who inspired Ellie’s development, the Thief in the classic arcade side-scroller D&D: Shadow Over Mystara

This one is a Giant ensemble, and is referenced off of a mix of Dashikis and Sherwanis. The square gold toggles are a preference of Giant clothes-makers, although this style is from one of their lesser known subcultures. I’ve always wanted to put Ellie in something kinda Sherwani inspired because she’s supposed to have a little bit of Indian heritage in her somewhere!

A western outfit, specifically Gnome. During Elliel’s young adult life, she ends up doing a lot of mercenary and sex work in the Gnome States. I wanted something that could look both active and sensual. It’s both fun and weird to see her in Italian-esque tailoring

Because Elliel’s main outfits didn’t include an Ogre outfit, I really wanted to put her in one for her mum’s culture. I really like her in eye-obscuring looks, so a bandanna really struck me. Because my Ogres like to shave their hair so much, I like giving them bandannas that are tied in knots that resemble the hair of Hopi women

And last but not least is an Eastern outfit! This one is very typical of Dryad clothes, and is probably what she was wearing when she met Yerzhi in her late teens. I struggled with the color palette of this one the most, since the Dryads love their color, and Ellie’s a goth hoe. But I think erring on the side of bluer tones helped a lot. While my Dryads are influenced by a mix of Korean and Tang Dynasty Chinese culture, Elliel’s arm guard here is actually inspired by Japanese mounted archers
