I missed my grim reaper Renee Asao so I drew what she’d look like in her mid-20s. Around this age they’d probably be an artist for various stage shows making weird creepy puppets and painting backdrops. And still scaring the daylights on of everyone without meaning to, it’s just her natural Sadako-charm eh!
They/them or she/her pronouns~

Hilariously enough Ren was the closest thing to a self-insert OC i ever made so I kinda wanted to revisit them for my birthday. Enjoy!

I got really excited for a moment thinking you were pulling from the manga Kimi Ni Todoke when you made the "Sadako" comment before realizing you probably meant the movie, not a lesser known comic xD Ah well. Keep up the awesome work, you still inspire me after 8 years <3

Haha Sawako's nickname is also a reference to The Ring though, isn't it?

It's genuinely amazing to see not only how much the characters change over the years, but how intensive your style has become over time as well.

Can't say I've kept up too much with SalaDays, but Ren is definitely one of the most interesting characters to me, and it's very cool to see how much you reflect yourself upon them; the passion in this picture really shows it.  

Also, hope that you have a great birthday and a better year ahead
