Quick question though. If they're not on Earth why do they have the colors then? Just something I was wondering. My only guess would be that you don't have a render of them w/out the disguise.

My first thought is why would they need bright color and tiers(sp?) if they don't transform into cars and stuff. I hope that scenes.

I still don't follow- but the first prequel was colored and drawn without any clear, finalized colors for the colorist to go by, from what I was told. Since we DID have clear references for the characters now, I was told to just give them their regular colors.

read the book today, was kinda spooked that i saw the same pages on devart before i found it in barnes and nobles
and i found myself drawn more into the art than the speech bubbles
but grah! my inner n00b fangirl is filled with questions!
(and as a recently converted transfan, it was great and yet at the same time puzzling to see old yet unfamiliar faces... and mixed emotions when certain characters died)
