John Rambo refuses to listen to Gladiolus, for his war on glass all the policemen.
Because of his distressing past in the Vietnam War where he was tortured.
Rambo's tormented spirit finally breaks, and answers to Gladiolus for the suffering of the war he had and had seen for too long ends up haunting him.
Gladiolus ends up reasoning with Rambo who must live in his own way to protect others.
