A couple of years ago, I came up with the concept of a type of fairy that steals children, specifically babies, and buries them in the ground, leaving only their hands and feet exposed, which then become mushroom like growths. Since the prompt this time was "fairy", I decided to resurrect that concept for this drawing.

I based the fairy's head and colours on the star-nosed mole. It has little slits for eyes and can't see much, but it can find its way around by scent and touch. It's long clawed fingers allow it to burrow with ease, which is how it can get into human homes.
