Here we have Pokey Oak's own Ms. Keane as Lt. Ellen Louise Ripley from Alien II after just fighting off the Alien Queen. Some experts are saying that they dont really save anything with it.
Its just something we kept from the VERY old days loong ago... I think they started it in 1919 or earlier.
With more efficient lights they would save a lot more energy today, plus it costs money to change all the older clocks on places and at buildings - and the changes in the flightplans, busplans etc... a lot of trouble that would not be necessary ^^°
