I made it clear to my cats when they was still wee bit kittens that the counter is OFF-LIMITS! For the most part they have remembered this lesson. Here is a pic of Palette during one of those rare moments here one of them ether forgot, or choose to ignore, those lessons.

That's what I think. Either that or she has the thought that though the sink is part of the counter, it is NOT the counter. Cats are real good about things like that, the details.
