Holy crap this is a monster of a file. I expected this to be big, but not this big. The scary part is that this is just the half of it.
...so what is it?
Anyone remember Ragnarok Online? (It's an MMO for those who don't know)
I used to play this game so much when I was still into it, even if I sucked at it terribly, lol. Oh, but I didn't play it to beat up monsters and other players. No, I played it mostly for its quests. For the monster stories. For the lore. Long story short, RO has a lot of hidden stories about its monsters and I was interested in their designs enough to wonder what they were.
Three of such monsters were Bongun, Munak, and Hyegun and I have been dying to find a good thread that talks about their history, but alas...A lot of people just lump them into a love triangle and call it a day, which is okay too since it's just fan stuff, but I wanted something much more in-depth than a fanfiction. Eventually, I found out their in-game backstories via wikis, but I noticed there were a lot of inconsistencies in it...so I dismissed the game's canon and made my own thread (found here for those who are curious: docs.google.com/document/d/1UH… that contained my theories about what went down between these three and I just went all out with screenshots and pictures to make it so that it's not just wordswordswords all throughout the thread.
It didn't dawn on me just how much stuff I made until I bunched them all up like this, but at least they make for a great sketch dump :0!

It's pretty fun, but it can get boring pretty quick if you don't have anyone to play it with or if you're not interested in the stories it has to offer since it's essentially just a grind fest, haha.

I loved RO quests they were really interesting, sometimes I got killed by mobs because I wasn't paying much attention while exping because I was thinking about the quest story

Same here! Though I pretty much died in every high level quest because I never had the patience to hunt for equips or level up for more than an hour, haha. I just want to know your story, I don't care if you have to chew my leg off in the process!

Pffff- I can barely handle 100 on the easy monsters, how on earth did you have the patience asoijd-
But yeah, I know what you mean. The hours I spent playing RO, I could've been doing something more productive like doing homework and not pulling all-nighters to get them done, haha.

I got the patience because I was getting these cards mainly in party and it was fun to complain to eachother or race who will get that drop first

Haha, yeah, I wish I had a group of people to hunt stuff with. It would've made hunting for loots a lot easier for sure because I would've been complaining their ears off the entire time, pfff.
I never played with a lot of characters since I couldn't reach lvl 99 with even one character, but I think the most exciting class to play as was a priest since you have to be very active in moving around and stuff when you're killing monsters. The character I used the most though was my alchemist (+Lif homunculus) because Emergency Escape UvU <33

I couldn't ever reach to 99 of second class and it was so frustrating, I've never been the best in exping, but I liked doing some funny random hats and then show off on prontera square
I played Wizard for most of the time. Great class and I got really good at it! Ohhh nostalgia
