First of all, I want to thank everybody for the wonderful and lovely Birthday wishes

I went to a Green Day concert in Germany in august and it brought me into the mood to start drawing their lead singer Billie Joe Armstrong.

This is my third work in progress of this drawing.



So... I'm almost done drawing his hair....

AND OMG IT'S SO FLUFFY, I'M GONNA DIE

Used: 2H, 3B, 6B, 0.5 mm mechanical pencil, Tortillion for blending, kneaded eraser
Time: 25 hours
Size: A4
Paper: 200 g/m2 paper

Hey how do you achieve such dark blacks while using only graphite? I find if I use only graphite, it makes the drawing shiny and that can be really annoying.
Also, love your work!

Ja haha ik ben jammer genoeg nog nooit naar een concert geweest maar ik ben al sinds ik weet dat ze naar Pinkpop komen bij mijn moeder aan het zeuren of ik mag gaan (stomme jonge leeftijd -.-)
