Lovely concept and detail of the branches - I like how everything looks so barren, but also so lively. The intricacy of the branches is great.

However, my real gripe about this is the sharpness - there are halos around the branches and I find this very distracting. For me, it sort of ruins the piece - other than that, I like it.

Yes, I know exactly what you mean. I did this in PhotoShop as it looked better to me oversharpened than not.
