Since no one's given you a critique yet - I will. The light in the piece is powerful. Only obvious color jump high in the sky - could be too much, but I like the variety. I only see two people in the picture. They become kind of the main subject, taking in the great landscape - except their sitting in front of the view-obscuring tree!! The tree leaves pulls my eye in too much. I like the skyscrapers in the distance. I get the impress of Europe as I look at the landscape. Rome maybe? The sky is my favorite part though. thanks for posting your work!

This is absolutely breath-takingly beautiful. I love the assortment of colors and the seemingly complexity of the scene in a single simple moment. Now, excuse me if I am wrong but this seems to me to be just a simple conversation on a bench between friends. And yet it builds into this beautiful variation of forest, big city, small down areas. You capture... LIFE. Yes, I believe that is the word I am looking for. You capture life in this scene. And it is very powerful and beautiful.
