Description Question: do you usually sign your works or use a watermark? I don't use them because I simply don't like seeing my name written on my works, I like my works clean. πŸ˜… Nowadays, it's impossible to completely protect our works from thieves because of the modern technology and techniques that help to get rid of the watermarks pretty easily, so it's a bit useless too... But signatures are definitely great for marketing purposes! What is your opinion on artist's signatures and watermarks? 😊

Somehow I like signatures. There are some artist who has a really cool signature or watermark, what they use on their pics. The artist's signature is somehow a part of the picture I dont think it would make a pic unclean. But I can see your oppinion. Anyway an artist with a strong stlye dont really need signatures or watermarks, because you can spot a wellknown style from far away.

I like the picture, the coloring style looks cool. I like her hair very much.

What a lovely woman. I love how soft and inquisitive her eyes are, and the glitter on her clothing helps to give her a quiet, ethereal appearance.

Beautiful portrait, really expressive and I love the details on her clothing.

I sign my work but I'm an arrogant sob so take that with a grain of saltΒ Β

I kinda agree with the watermark/signatures. I wouldn't really use them unless I think I've made a really good image and posted it for the public's eye. Like for inktober. Although I posted all of them on a different account, only a couple of those didn't get my signature. (Mostly because I didn't like it, but still wanted to post it) but eh. I guess it depends.

Love the texture of the skin!! I always sign my stuff, mostly because allot of repost accounts are too lazy to remove it anyways or if it's a pinterest pin, I've found a few artists even when they weren't credited because they had simply written their name somewhere in the artwork, so I do it for that reason, and kind of with the same feeling as when you write your name under your essay after finishing it it'd feel weird to just leave it blank? ^^''

I usually write my name somewhere in a corner or try to hide it somewhere, but I’m always afraid of art thieves.
