To be honest I think the boots look great. I mean, have you seen how they draw Robotnik's "boots" in SEGA's style? Trust me, you have it pretty good in my opinion. I think your sketch looks great. Snively strikes me as a character that would fit well (design-wise) in both SatAM style and SEGA game style. Can't wait to see the finished piece!

Eggman's boots are more like tight-type things. I've already changed the boots to more of Amy/Silver's style (ie. more like real boots) though I suppose they fit Snively's normal SatAm attire better (which is more for what I'm aiming towards.

Snively may work better since he is a human. Eggman has a more obscured style yet gets away with it because humans don't really require the Max Fleitcher-style design that is required for nearly every animal character (he looks more authentic than Elise anyway). That said Snively did have more design attributes that fit the SEGA style originally (similar proportions, large hands and feet, bulbous head and Tails-ish eyes).

You hopefully won't have to wait long, I'm almost finished actually (my new pen tablet is making progress a lot quicker).

His eyes are a bit small maybe make them a little bigger.

Nearly finished the pic already, think I have finished both the shoes and the eyes (which I also noticed).

Again, wasn't sure what how to design the boots, based them somewhat off his Archie 'Eggman-ish' design.

Ah, they don't look really bad, it's just they're not quite the SatAM Snively. Anyway, the rest of it looks good.

Yeah, I suppose it helped that he actually wears THE REST of Eggman's costume in Archie too. Maybe Amy or Silver-style boots would do better for the SatAm-attire.

Wasn't really sure what to do with the boots, tried to make them like the rubbery things he and Eggman have in the comics.
