One character I'm really surprised hasn't gotten an official bio is Fang. I know he's scrapped and all, but so are Tikal, Chaos, Emerl and Gamma (and he's been playable in more games than them). Also, it would finally give him an official eye color. In the comics, it varies from red to blue to yellow to even purple, which makes him a pain to draw. I'd say yellow or gold would look best, but almost every other purple in the franchise (excluding Wave) has either yellow or gold as an eye color.

I think the probable reason they haven't made bios for scrapped characters is that given they haven't been in a recent game yet, there is nothing really confirmed about their personalities and roles aside from their vague personas shown in the 2D games. When Chaotix returned, changes were made to them, and Uekawa likely redesigned them according to this (eg. Espio's ninja attire). Unless they return in a game, Uekawa would really be just shooting in the dark.
I may make Fang at some point. Until then I think there are a few pretty decent takes around the site.

Yeah the edits have already been done and the audience became happy with it.

It may not be that big a problem, there is only about a dozen or so recurring characters currently when you think about it, it's only enthasised by the fact they are all used in almost every game with a role almost as prominant as Sonic himself. It would be nice if SEGA could drop Shadow and Rouge for one brief moment and let one of the originals have a proper turn.

There isn't really as many characters as you think (there are certainly series out there with larger casts than Sonic), but it's the fact that so many are jammed into a single game. Shadow and Rouge could do with a rest, and though I haven't really played any of the newer games, are they trying to jam Silver into every new game as well...or is that just me?

Expect a pic of him as soon as I better at drawing him more. As for the more obscure ones like Honey and the Egg Robots, maybe a little later along the line. There are so many universes to choose from and I'd like to do a little of each rather than do every single minor one of a particular element (I still haven't done an AoSth Sonic Channel yet).

The comics are about the one universe to broaden his character (as annoying as that may be). His 'Silent Bob' personality is OK there I guess (I like the fact they made him a semi-villain as well, too many hero characters these days).
