I like the vascular outbranching.

I'd recommend you to get a huuuuge canvas where you dont need to bother about borders and get to it! Then crop it afterwards the way you want.
Maybe you do that already, but just take it as a hint. Because no borders give more freedom to let it flow.

Yes very sometimes I paint on bigger canvas then re-crop it, but as you said, it's a good idea.
For those series painted for 'Emptiness', I use small pieces of wood.
