(I know I'm late to the party but) Came across this episode today and the amount of feels I had was both amazing and disturbing. This is probably the most adorable scene in Naruto thus far. The amount of trust Naruto has in Jiraiya is just astounding, especially for a kid that needed to learn that lesson in the most difficult way possible.

I wish we could get some sort of return of Jiraiya in the anime or manga. Reanimation, flashback, whatever.
Perhaps during a possible promotion of Naruto becoming Hokage. Some moment in which he can proudly observe his grandson - perhaps even having Minato and Kushina by his side. Or Orochimaru and Tsunade.

I was thinking more in the line of sometime during the shippudden anime (the manga wasn't done when I wrote my post). But yes, afterwards in the new anime it would also be nice to see him there.
