Another of my Disney "squares" art. I'm only doing these because so many people loved the Pocahontas one I did years ago, then only uploaded it a while back this year.
Cinderella's original dress is white and silver, those are the original colors, watch the Disney movie! It only seems to turn blue in scenes where they're in shadows and there's no light, so they darkened it with blue as gray would look too somber for her.
Also it is the franchise of the Disney Princess under orders from their marketing department that made it blue, in order to be more modern and not look too bridal.
