Description
I decided to change the background from the original sketch.T^T The lineart is so messed up. But I'm quite satisfied.
It would be awesome if you could comment and critique. I would really appreciate it!

This is so nice! It has a very nice summery warm feel to it. I like the light hints of sun rays coming through the trees as well. She is very cute and her outfit is adorable. One thing I noticed though is that the shading and highlights do not match the light source (which looks like it's coming from the top left corner because of the sun rays). When someone stands under a tree, they are, for the most part, in a very shadey area with only some small areas of sunlight coming through the gaps in the trees' leaves. In this picture, however, she seems to be pretty evenly shaded as if the sunlight was hitting her from behind. Mabye it would have been better if you didn't add a highlight on the right side of her body. Other than that, I really love this. I really like the background and how it isn't that dramtically detailed so it looks soft and doesn't distract attention away from the girl. Dispite the shading problem I mentioned, it is very nicely colored.

I totally agree with you. Somehow, personally I saw something wrong in this image especially the lighting of the character. I was meaning to put the light source behind her but I think I sort of went of course when doing the background. Thus, leaving a very disconnected feel between the character and her surroundings.Thanks so much for the detailed comment!

The girl is drawn very cute, and I like the overall mood.
My only complaint would be that the colours consists mostly out of primary ones, I think if you used a better variety, it would definitely be better

If you want I can show you some examples of great colour theories.
My own opinion on colour theory is that people should always keep a sense of contrast in their choice of colours, that and neutral colours are the awesomest colours ever.
