djklgksdgdf So. Jealous. How do you shade and stuff and scan it? I draw light so when I scan it its so light you can't see it half the time so it looks terrible -sobs- But it seems that with everyone else I can distinguish skin tone and the background easily.

nope, im not scanning. the same reason what you are saying : D it will loose the details and the softness.
im taking a photo of it. at daylight (its important, but not under direct sunlight). i suggest you to try it too.
the tutorial i promised to you is half done already, i think im going to include this point to the end then ^^
