Description
Finally. My very first Destiny fan art and it's set in my favorite theme: the Vex and the Black Garden. I won't do this kind of complex things never ever again, thank you very much.
I took so very much long time to do only the sketch, which was the hardest part. I barely draw armor, and much less if it's in realistic proportions. And the Sanctified Mind... it's an aberration xD
Anyways, I'm good with this pic, my teammates are good too, I can call it finished.
Also, I want to call out one of the teammates, Lunatiko, for noticying about an important mistake of composition that I made and telling me. Thank you very 'mucho'

F.A.Q.:
How much time did it take you to complete?
Let's just say I started sketching the pic a few moments after completing the raid, which it might be a total of 4~5 days.
What game is this?
Destiny 2, game created and in development by Bungie. Currently on it's post-production phase.
Who are in this pic?
From left to right: vVjsotesVv, hereboss47, Cytrem (aka E1 XBlaster, aka me), iblizeth, Lunatiko!, tyu756b6b6 and Tiofan. At the background: the Sanctified Mind, Sol Inherent.
Hey, raids are only made up of 6 Guadians! Why are there 7 Guardians here?
In this case, I wanted to draw everyone who helped me to complete it, but during the final boss fight, a teammate had to leave because real life reasons, and someone else joined. I would feel bad if I did not draw this person who left, so I wanted to add him in the picture.
A VEX GOBLIN! WE MUST DESTROY IT! (In other words, why are you a Vex Goblin?)
When I went to the raid, I did during the Festival of the Lost event, which had multiple mask for the helmet. One of them was the Vex Goblin mask and, since I had the entire seasonal armor set, which it was Vex themed, I wanted to try to make a Vex Goblin Guardian. But it wasn't a easy job, since I had to find the cloak that better fit with the armor and the correct weapons and subclass (Vex has Void melee, so it has to be Nightstalker subclass).
However, I was missing one weapon (well, actually two): a Void energy Fusion Rifle from the raid Garden of Salvation. So I invited five Guardians to give me a hand with the raid (and teach me too), and the only thing left was a hope so it dropped from one of the chests. Aaand that's how the Vex Goblin ended up here!
If you got very exhausted with this pic, why did you do it anyways? It's just a gift for them. Free art for them, with a lot of effort and sweat behind.
The teammates I had, maybe not one of them but anyways, had a very good behaviour during the entire raid, despite of me being such a noob and taking my time to learn the mechanics. After helping someone to get Divinity exotic weapon and 2 hours battling the Sanctified Mind, I didn't get sactisfied with that ending. I wanted to keep this memory. "Since I know how to draw this kind of stuff, why not drawing it?" I said to myself. This wasn't made because it's just a gift for the others. It was made with the passion I had during my experience in the raid.
Now, painting it entirely with fancy lights there and over there would be a very tough and painful job, so I limited myself to try to get inspiration from the Last Wish raid cutscene.
Ok ok, cool, but who's Cytrem? What does it make different from other Vex?
Cytrem, Lightbearer Goblin, is my Vex Guardian OC... kinda (?). It's a hunter Guardian running the Way of the Trapper who was woken up by one of the Traveler's Ghosts in the Black Garden and now is helping other Guardians of the Last City. However, it's getting shot by accident by other Guardians.
Cytrem is not longer tied to a Vex Mind. It became self-reliant when it was revived for first time by its Ghost. Although it holds Vex weapons such as the Slap Rifle or the Line Rifle, it also wears a cloak, something unique from Hunters. And you can't see it in this pic, but instead of a red eye or light or whatever you want to call it, it's blue. Like that Harpy helping you out in one of the secondary missions on Nessus.
I guess that's it for the F.A.Q. I hope I answered most of your questions ^^'
