The team went to Ibaraki after working in Sendai. Roxanne, Reiko and the brainbot were making a news report. Suddenly some voices from the pit were heard.

"Tasukete!!", they cried in chorus.

Megamind, some rescuers and parents were at the scene. The names of the two people trapped from the pit were Shimizu Tomoyo and Kado Yoiichi. They had been there since the tragedy occured. 2-3 days ago, the Tomoyo -chan fell to the pit. Kado-san came to rescue her, however , he fell too. His left leg was badly separated from his thigh, due to a bad fall and blocked with some pebbles and boulders of rock. They were stuck as Kado-san was in tremendous pain.

The parents named Shimizu Junichiro and Emiko were very worried at their daughter because they arrived. So did rescuers they did their best to release the 2 people.
Megamind came to his senses. It was help needed.

"Ikimasho!", he called the other rescuers.

" I'm with you honey.", Roxanne said. The brainbots joined too.

Together they lifted the rescuer and the little girl. This scene made them to take the initiative. Reiko and her metallic companion filmed their act. Finally they were all miraculously saved.

The Shimizus hugged their daughter. The Mega spouses approached them.

"Domo Arigato Gozaimasu!", the father said.

"Dou itashi mashite.", Roxanne replied.

"Musume wa kanji ga yoi desu.", Megamind commented the little girl.

"Hai, So desu.", the mother answered.

However, Kado-san needed more attention, when Reiko conversed with him in Japanese. The Megaminds left the other family. She came to them for some news.

"His condition is too tremendous, therefore he needs to be amputated.", Reiko informed.

"We understood his situation.", Roxanne replied.

Megamind took pity at him. He held the injured man's hands like a brother.

"You'll get better soon. Don't loose hope.", he said with a concern.

"It's just a leg. I'll recover with this. I appreciated with you and your wife's efforts. You reached your hands for us.", Kado-san said weakly.

"It's our responsibility to do this.", the American news reporter replied.

The weary and injured man's face sensed hope from those who rescued him and the little girl. Kado-san and Tomoyo-chan's life will never be the same.
