Here is my entry for the Rick and Morty Interdimensionally Dysfunctional Contest. I started this just before episode 4 of Season 2 debuted and just had to include Mr. Poopypants. Total Rickall might be my favorite episode of Rick and Morty yet.

So the basic gist of my piece entitled "Get Ricked or Die Tryin" is that Rick is on another "high-concept sci-fi rigmarole" and looking out for number one which of course is himself. Rick steals a glowing eye from a giant gelatinous alien monster for monetary gain while leaving the entire Smith family to fend for themselves. It was largely inspired by the montage scene from Total Rickall where Morty remembers Rick being too distracted to help him fend off alien monsters. I also for some reason wanted to see Rick and Morty on hoverboards.
