...I have no idea about the category, but that doesn't matter much since I'll scrap this when the actual costume is ready. I just like watching others' wips, so I thought I'd share a few of my own.
This is what I accomplished today - bases for nearly all the metal parts. I'll try the arm-part first with fabric and then with craft foam, but my mother was using the sewing machine all day so I couldn't do it yet. Some parts need still working and I probably redo that... one... thing (I don't know the word for it XD) since I made it too small. Boot covers are not made yet because of the reason I stated above.
I kind of like how it's turning out so far. I had to play around a lot with paper to get the shape of the "claws" right and I nearly burned my hand several times while shaping the foam (it was my first time doing a craft foam armor and using heat in the process). But hey, cosplay is no cosplay without pain!
