Description A picture of a sunset with light rays. Photo is a merge of 6 photos, +2, +1, 0, 0, -1, -2 from my Nikon D7k camera using the 18-105mm lens. Photo merged with Photomatix Pro and enhanced in Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 3.

Another great shot! If it were me, I would "erase" the stop sign - it kind of detracts from your great sunset. You should join the "sky" and "sunset" groups -- they would appreciate your photos as I do!!

Yeah, I don't really like the stop sign there but I don't want to go in and try to erase it as cleanly as possible so it isn't visible. I should probably go to the intersection and take the pictures as it'll avoid the sign altogether. I should join more groups, lately I haven't been submitting my photos to any groups.

I go in and use the "Clone" brush in my Photopro 3x and erase a telephone pole in almost all of my sunset shots. It only takes a second and since I clone the area/color next to the pole -- it usually comes out so you can't even tell. But maybe a stop sign would be different because its wider and bigger. Anyway, since I don't use HDR (I like HDR that retains the original beauty of the piece like yours but I can't seem to master that), I want the photo to show all the natural beauty that is there and a telephone pole seems to ruin the "landscape." But yes, just go to the sunset group and ask to join -- they accept everyone, I believe. Good luck and keep sharing your photos! Marilyn958

Maybe it won't be too hard to do this one as the colors around it are fairly consistent and it just happens to be colors and not anything that would be hard to clone. I joined the sunset group and i was already in the sky-club. Thanks and I will!
