I think that you can think yourself the most mature person in the world, and yet when you see something like this, you're reduced to the vocabulary of an excited five year old, mentally shouting out "BUNNY!!!" gleefully. Now that my complaint about cute things is done:
This is really a gorgeous piece. The colour scheme is really soft and calming, and I love that paper you're using - it gives a very complimentary effect. The fur is very lifelike as well, and the highlights are beautiful. Well done indeed.

The bunny.Β He was a little cottontail, probably about 4 or 5 weeks old.Β Short little ears and he didn't have his 'cotton' on his tail yet.Β I had taken my dog over to the dog park and we got caught in a hail storm.Β Was standing there waiting for Buddy to do his dog duties, and this little rabbit came out of the bushes and squeezed himself up against my feet looking for a dry spot.Β I picked him up and brought him home.Β My daughter and I took care of him for about 3 weeks until he was big enough and fast enough to be on his own.Β Then we took him out to a place in the country where there was a creek, lots of grass and weeds, and lots of heavy underbrush to hide in.Β Bunnys are at the bottom of the food chain you know.Β Hopefully he did well.Β I noticed there was a lot of other rabbit tracks in the area.Β We called him Winston, so this is a drawing of little Winston.Β
