Despite the photo, the judges must have found the subjects' expression quite "alive". I see that in the man's and the cow's eyes. And you're so good with details, just incredible!

Traditional art I've noticed is very difficult to transform into a digial format and make it look like the original.
You do an exceptional job of photographing your artwork. They all come out so wonderful in the puzzle program so you have extremely good image setting skills also.
I would love to see all the originals of your oil paintings. If they look this good in photos I can just image what they must look like in real life.
