no. . . falcons and hawks and eagles and other birds of prey are endangered here. . . we're not even allowed to possess a feather from one of those birds

nationwide. . . only time you're allowed to possess a feather from an endangered species is if you're native american/indian b/c they use them in their spiritual ceremonies so it's like religious descrimination to tell them how to do their rituals

Looking at it, history has a part here. Falconry has been a part of life here, right from the early Kings if not before. Whereas the States has so little history (white man's) that it never took off (forgive the pun)
