Great shot Will, although I bet that they spoilt any nice reflections for a while!

After that, they settled down. I'd taken the reflection ones I've
recently put up before this happened, I only had the 18-70mm lens with me.
Now I have a Nikkor AF 70-300mm, from an SLR & I's havin fun, I is

Blessings, M'lord Elric for your favour

300 mm from a SLR, that's enough to make you omniscient regarding anything that happens in Wells.

I have a similar lens (cheap one), but it upsets my EOS 350D, unless I use a certain setting. I must try to remember what it was again.

What rating do you reckon I'll get then?
I know it's better than the Minolta 70-300mm,
it shook me the first time I used it

I don't have a head for numbers, but for what I remember reading the other day, the difference between a digital and a non-digital lens would be something like 1:1.4 - that would turn your lens into a 98-420 mm lens. The light would be equally less though. Better bring a tripod if you didn't already do that. (And you probably did.)

Blighme! I will be using a tripod in future
Thankfully, the subjects I shot will still be there

I guess it would be asking too much for them to sit perfectly still!

I dont do too much. When I load mine, about all I do is maybe a small crop to improve composition, and raise up the contrast and brightness a bit, and then knock down the gamma a couple stops.. makes them pop out more

A friend had me on PS CS2, showing me how to use it
I usually just crop & sharpen and occasionally fill light if needed.
I'll just stick to what I know
