So I have 9 giant monsters and robot stuff to upload. Got 5 of them finished up. Just got to shade and highlight the other 4. So I am going to bombard your little inboxes with Japanese monster and giant robot goodness for a while tonight.

So starting off is probably one of the most strangest of foes for Daitetsujin 17. Usually giant robot live action shows have really far out machines with a lot of color and really cool abilities. But here....well....they sort of went the opposite route with this. Of course...this Robot was suppose to be disguised as a giant gas tank in the middle of a Japanese city...so I guess I can't fault the design for that.

Anyhoo, this is the Gas Tank Robot. (Oh and btw, all the giant robots in this show have really lame naming conventions so don't blame me k). As I said though, this giant killer ball of death is basically a robot version of an industrial size gas tank. It springs to action and rolls around alot. It shoot pretty sparklers....I mean...DEADLY FIRE-STREAMS.....out of a few different holes in it's body. Honestly it looks like Roman candles going off everywhere.

Needless to say....our colorful giant robot Daitetsujin 17 made short work of this guy and destroyed him pretty easy. Plans foiled and the city is saved. Or is it???
