Description

Here is the original incarnation of the spiky lizard monster that heralds from the Godzilla universe. Though unlike the fan favorite version that shows up in the 60's and 70's...this was the first member of the Anguirasaurus that showed up in modern day Japan. And this was not a very friendly member of the species either. In fact, he was basically the 2nd Godzilla's mortal enemy. The monsters fought tooth and claw to the death.

As far as suit design goes...I sort of like the proportions of this guy more than the 60's version. The smaller head, longer neck, thinner body, and more crocodile like head I feel is a bit more menacing. And I like the thinner spikes on his back too. What I don't like...is the freaking fact the suit's shell kept opening. I know that it was designed to be a 2 piece shell that would curl up at the ends like the model, but they dropped that and should have fixed it so it didn't keep opening in the movie lol. Still, I like this version of the monster. Shame that a lot of fans sort of disregard him.
