A giant purple AGWS that's practically the heaviest AGWS one could ever use. because of it's size, it has several personal items that can only worn by it. it's the last AG class to be introduce in the xenosaga series, before the introduction of the mysterious AG-03.

bio

concept art - "Design illustration of an A.G.W.S. by Mr. Ishigaki. This heavy-armored model was design for long-range fire support. the cannon mounted on it's back is supported by claws on both arms".

battle passport - This is a hulk of an A.G.W.S., with armor to match. It doesn't take as much damage as the others from each hit, but it is slow, with a top speed of under 30 KmPH. The weapon choice is somewhat limited for this unit but the list includes a few special, powerful, weanons iusr for this A.G.W.S.

card note - this card attacks every other battle phase. the attacks of this card penetrate.

In the Anime, this AGWS was owned by Chaos, but it's destroyed by Albedo when inside proto merkabah.

Trivia.
In the event of the game, AG-05 can be bought before going to proto mekabah and after the event of the song of nephilim. while in the anime, it's shown during the event where the kukai foundation is invaded by the gnosis, an event that happens before the song of nephilim.
AG-05 is the second AG class to have it's own personal weapons (first being AG-04).
unlike the other 3 AG (AG-01, AG-02 & AG-04), this AG was the first not to be painted with the color cream on it's body (second being AG-03).
AG-05 is the only AGWS capable to change it's hand for a claw.
AG-05 is the only playable AGWS to have only 1 booster on it's jet pack. while the others have from 2 to 3 to 4 boosters.
