Description “Let’s get you home, Mon Amour.”
.
.
This is a Hetalia piece inspired by the Evacuation of Dunkirk in World War 2. The British soldiers were evacuated from Dunkirk beach in France back the England. When at the same time German tanks were heading after them. The tanks were called off for a few days (IDK what reason) and then were told to keep going. When the German tank reached the beach the British soldiers had had enough time to evacuate.

So Britain has been hurt, and France is leading him to Dunkirk beach. That is supposed to be smoke in the sky, to represent the German tanks following them. Britain probably didn’t like the idea of France supporting him in the begging – but that idea would never stay strong.

This is not really a FrUK. Just Historical. Not sounding full of myself, but this is the best Photoshop I’ve ever done. It would be great if people commented on it, it means a lot.

Done with Adobe Photoshop CS3 Extended

Actually gorgeous. Having read about this, it's great to see it brought to life like this. Platonic or romantic, it's gorgeous. PS. FrUk

I think this is a very well made drawing with a touching meaning behind it. While the bodies aren't perfectly made it's very obvious that you're not afraid of experimenting with poses, which is a great thing to dare to do (I know I usually don't), no matter how skilled you are. The landscape however, is from my point of view excellent and very beautifully and accurately done, as well as the story behind it. I love history and to see it represented in art is even better!
I hope you'll be able to get something good out of this rambling, and sorry if I wrote way too much^^

I like this piece
You may have done it with Photoshop, but the technique looks traditional and that adds more charm to the picture in my opinion
Also, when I zoomed it, I noticed blood trickling down France's forehead - a very nice touch!

Ouch, I have to say this, but DANG that must have hurt for France too. Not only does Paris fall, but he has to escape with England to the UK of all places. This is a really nice piece though!

Yeah I agree with you that it wasn't any better on Frances side either. And thank you for the response.
