Description
Tier 4 Commission (Speedpaint) for for their upcoming fanfiction! It stars Sombra before his corruption and the young Prince Borelo, who bears a striking resemblance to Princess Cadance (perhaps he's an ancestor?) The story revolves around Sombra's past, filled with romance, betrayal, war, and the eventual fall of a tragic king. The fic isn't available for reading yet but as soon as it is I'll give a link to it! uwuThe image itself depicts good ol' Sombra working his charms on the young prince. Seems to be super effective. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
This was was a whole bunch of fun to work on! AND challenging! The background gave me quite the fight before I eventually stumbled into something that worked, and from then on the image was a relative breeze. Very proud of the composition in particular here. <:

The Warmest Knight and Fairest Prince
The grand halls of the Crystal Castle was a thing of unquestionable beauty. Just its very presence outweighed any high-nosed noble back in Castilla yet it seemed sohumble somehow, it took a moment of awe-stricken pause for Sombra to regain some sense. Nevermind the rest of the company, his ears listening to their comments on the shiny glint of the carved crystal or the rich parchment that hung along the walls that gave the allegiances of the kingdom’s noble houses. Each crystal was as intimately different than the last. The guards stood under each banner, disciplined and true to their duty. It was hard to tell what was armour and what was their glittering crystalline pelts with a few.
Sombra felt unworthy to even step even more forward, but he forced himself on. Strong shouldered and broad in practiced step, one hand casually resting on the scarlet-wrapped hilt of his arming sword while his fur-mounted cloak flowed behind him to a soft wind. S here it is and lot one singe comment, sad really : (
