Completed version of Liang's Illustration commission. This is the Colored Pencil variety, meaning everything was done in colored pencil; only the base colors and water was done in watercolor.
My... GOD. Took me a while to finish this. :/ But it was well worth it, because honestly, I was enjoying myself with this one. xD It's one of the first times I actually used nothing BUT colored pencil to color the entirety of a piece, one with a lot of detail no less, so I'm proud of it. ^^
I see a few mistakes here and there, but I like it overall. I hope my client likes it as well! C:

The details are fantastic, especially in his fur and the water. Very hard to place the "light glints" on water in the right spots to really make it look fluid, I think you nailed it

Aww, thank you! ^^ It did take awhile, but I was a great deal of fun. :3 Also, that's actually a white furred fox. xD I did make his head a little too thick for a fox, though. D:

Lol, no harm done at all. xD In your defense, the head of the fox is a bit wolfish, so I don't blame you for thinking him a wolf at all. :3
I know what you mean! That's when I enjoy art the most; I don't notice anything more than the piece I'm working on; not even my sleepiness keeps me from being distracted. Plug in with your favorite music, and BAM! I feel like I'm in a calmer state of mind. xD

Dude, tell me about it; it's around the same amount of hours for me, and on only like... two major or important pieces. xD A few more hours of my free hours are added if you include sketching and speedpaintings. :3
As for what I listen to, it really doesn't matter, so long as I like the song. But mostly, it's Michael Jackson for me, lol. C:

I generally turn on Pandora and let it guide my listening. It's pretty sweet not having to think about what I want to listen too while working. Much less mental strain on my poor mind.

That's true. I usually have my MP3 player either on shuffle, or just let it play in it's order. If I'm using Youtube for my source of music, I just turn the shuffle on that too. x3
