My fifth post of the sketch-ref-things I'm doing for the MLP characters involved in my War-themed AU Requiem from my What If... project.

This one is of our favorite and fabulous fashionista, Rarity. 8D

Like Twi, I can see Rarity having a slightly longer than average horn and a point sharper than it should be, especially with her profession. o3o

She also has five headshots because... well... because she can, that's why. B| I just had to add Wet-maned Rarity in there, but I have an excuse! D: Y'see, this is how Rarity ended up looking when she disregards the storming rain in her sorrow. Her expression isn't overwhelmingly sad though, because one of the others is giving her words she really needs to hear. o3o That's my story, and I'm stickin' to it. B|

On that note, there's a reason why Rarity would turn out so sad. But I'll get to that later on.

Anyway, in this AU, idea is that our favorite white-coated unicorn is still the successful fashionista she is in the show, and she's doing relatively well for herself. Her biggest break came to be when she was commissioned by Luna herself to design the ceremonial uniforms high-ranking soldiers must wear on special occasions; it had to be fetching and eye-catching, but practical in case an emergency happened. (I'm considering the idea that she was the one to influence magic-influenced gear ) This is how she met Twilight Sparkle for the first time.

She hides a large scar beneath her long mane. How she got it is a different story for another time. o3o

Hmmm... On a somewhat different note, I've also been considering taking pony commissions of other folk's pony ocs in this sort of style; the sketch-reference thingy, I mean. o3o What do you guys think? They won't be anymore than maybe... mm... $8 a piece? But I was wondering whether or not you guys would be interested in something like that before I threw it out there. O:
