Ahh, to live on a space station
And be part of the crew
You’d never feel alone
Because they’re always watching you

In orbit around a world
Or maybe a satellite
I don’t think you’d ever tire
Of the incandescent light

You’d breathe recycled air
And drink recycled pee
The diseases that you’d get
Would be few and far between

You’d eat liquid food out of packages
Or perhaps it would be in pill form
You’d probably have to live
In a futuristic-type dorm

Time would be arbitrary
And have no meaning at all
There would certainly be no summer
Nor winter, nor spring, nor fall

Anybody up for some cards?
A nice game of space solitaire
Or possibly a musical game
Involving some anti-gravity chairs

But don’t play around in the airlocks
Or you might get sucked into space
Where there’s no atmosphere to protect
Your non-vacuum loving face
The gravity might even be less
Than what you are feeling right now
The clothes might even be unisex
They could probably do that somehow

How about a nice ray gun?
You could conceivably need one of those
To protect yourself from other colonists
Or green, tentacle-bearing foes

The life would probably be rough
But it could also be quite rewarding
When a ship full of girls with three boobs
Come a boarding

How I would love to awake
In a tiny, rectangular bed
With nothing but a pillow and sheet
And a sharp, stinging pain in my head

To live on a space station
