I think leaving it just as it is is perfect........straight horizontal and the image becomes more plain ( great shot)......this tilt adds the right amount of odd interest and stability.....to twist it counter clockwise would " feel" wrong to me, and she would seem to slide off the steps......for some reason she seems quite oddly stable.....
and the artist should do what they feel comfortable with............great choices here

Damn straight....lol. I'm sure some of this is in response to Daniel's critiquing. He's one of the few on dA whom I allow to openly critique me. He's pretty good about hearing me when I say, "Nah I like it this way". He respects it.

I disagreed with what was being said, so yes...just my two cents, now worth .00000543 Euro as of opening bell. I read it, looked at the image from the posed critiques and decided I could see exactly why you liked it better where you placed it. I didn't see any disrespect in the critiques. They were input.......but that is all that critiquing is....it is always subjective, unless it is attached to a situation in which you gain monetarily or educationally....and even then.......meh............I feel the creator and the direct, uneducated audience is the most important part of the artistic experience. ( nothing more annoying than the chai sippers...) As long as respect is there, it really comes down to the artist and the audience.......not a critic, to determine what is right and wrong. .......

As usual you get my perspective and purpose on my work. You have NO idea how much I appreciate that. It's awesome when someone gets it. Sometimes when you have a naysayer (even well intended) you think "how can they not see the awesomesauce that I see?". It's great that you and I have the same flavor of awesomesauce!

I LOVE honey barbecue. It's sweet and tangy. The juxtaposition of both flavors is bold but comforting. I also like the viscosity of the sauce, thick enough to stay on the food but thin enough to create a nice mouth feel (that's what she said). <------ That's my awesomesauce critique.

We did. This was an old shoot. I'm going back through some old images and re-editing using some new techniques for better compression into jpeg. Ran across this one and thought "why didn't I edit this one?".

Can you shift it a bit, so that the lines of the steps are horizontal or running from bottom left to top right instead of the other way around?
