I envy your ability to paint with oils. I have a studio painting class right now and I am ready just crawl up the wall! Patience, I guess!
The lighting on the head/face is nice and soft; I really like the way the left side of her sort of 'fades' into the painting's background.

I also wish I could paint things I am *interested* in, to. I am *sick* of still lives. I actually told a friend in that class that I was going to bring in dead fish and barbwire to paint.
