The point of legendarys design was to make his teeth more reasonable and reptilian (similar to the rest of his design) and youβre not going to find many reptiles with absurdly long canine teeth like a big cat , Godzillaβs traditional toho look crosses traits from reptiles (like a Chinese dragon) and mammals which gives him that more mythical look. Most reptiles display homodont dentition meaning they donβt have distinct types of heterodont teeth meant for puncturing , grinding and cutting all simultaneously. The designers for legendary Godzilla seem to have gone with the former
