This would sell perfectly as a winter holiday card set

I think it's great that you go from a house pet such as a cat to animals as exotic as the red panda. Your diversity in choice is something you should be proud of.

It's a fire fox! I love how cute it looks and yet how non-plussed it looks about the snow

This is beautifully done. I love how you've done the background specially, with the double border, it's very effective.

The panda's face has some wonderful shades of colour too

Great job!

Amazing!
They really aren't well known.
Once I've been to a mall, and in one of the small shops there was a plush Red Panda on a top shelf.
And I asked the shop assistant if she could get me that Himalayan Red Panda, because I wanted to have a look at it. She was so happy, she said: wow, you're the first person to say red panda and not fox, or cat.
I didn't buy it in the end..

about your painting: it's just so great!

"Oh Yes Precious, Very nice Indeed!"

I think it's so incredibly cute!
What are the giant pandas related to anyway? Raccoons?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

EatToast In reply to Zhon [2006-08-01 00:34:47 +0000 UTC]

ah,.. the giant panda is a quandry to the biology world. many scientists put it into the raccon family, procyonidae, while other want to put into the bear family ursilidae...while some others put it in it's own special group made up of it's first name, genus wise...aliuropoda. becasue of it's specialized diet, and smaller frame than that of most other bears, is why, currently, it belongs in its own group. but while most bears intake quite a bit of vegitation, the panda actually has flat adapted teeth to suit its diet.

BIOLOGY LESSON OF THE DAY!!

is it wrong that i knew all of this without the help of the internet, except for spelling??
