I know this pic of Mr. Herriman ( Foster's Home) and Francis( Cats Don't Dance) makes NO sense, but in context it's kinda amusing. This is one of my pics for 'Dancing with the Toon Stars', - a parody webpage of the ABC show.[link]
Yet another goofy fangirl idea brought to fruition thanks to CDD fans.

Man...I somewhat wish that was me dancing with Herriman. (One of the small Herriman fan population)
I think the simplicity works well against the complex. For some reason, I think they would both try to fight for control in their dances together.

Wonderful! I'm probably one of the few Mr. Herriman fans, he's a great character to work with/against when writing Fosters stories. ^^ It's even more amusing pairing him with women. We've seen Coco, now we have here Francis. Seems almost ideal. 
You have such magnificent work. Your style really is fun to look at and be inspired by.

Wow, this is really awesome! I saw this one the CCD site, and it looks absolutely amazing. Hehe, I think it's nice how these two ended up together, they seem to compliment one another in the picture.

I used 2 softwares. Mr. Herriman was done entirely in Illustrator 10. It seemed natural since his design was created for Flash use, but I prefer the precision control of objects in Illustrator than in Flash. Francis' linework was done in Illustrator, but colors were dropped in with Photoshop 7 and her poofy ballgown trim was a custom brush. Francis' shading is subtle because I wanted to make her complement vs. overwhelm Herriman, whose flat color style I wanted to preserve.
